John Clark started Clark & Associates out of a small office in his home in 1979. He was a single person representative in Southern California in the industrial tool business after having been the VP of sales for an abrasives manufacturer. After Gary graduated from College in Mechanical Engineering he worked for a major medical device manufacturer and went on to graduate school for his MBA at night. In 1985 Gary partnered with John and together they incorporated Clark & Associates, opened their first office and warehouse, and began to expand their business. They started in the Industrial/ MRO channels and quickly moved into the Construction, Welding and Safety channels. Over the years they expanded their geography, added people, and increased services and facilities. John retired in the early 2000’s but has remained a great mentor for Gary over the years. Today Clark reaches 17 states with over 25 employees and is headquartered in Anaheim, CA. Our office includes sales and marketing offices, a 5000 square foot state of the art training center and 20,000 square foot warehouse.
